this past week.

I know.. I haven't updated as much as I had been in previous weeks, and such lovely things have been happening! Last week I..

* Baked choc-chip muffins and scones
* Helped my lovely friend, Lyndsey, make some mini pavlovas
* Had tea and scones (which I made) with my best friend, Bronwyn, which was followed by ice cream down by the water
* Put together a lovely basket of goodies for my fiance and I for a picnic we had on Saturday evening
* Had tea and banana bread (which bronwyn made) at bron's
* And.. had dinner & dessert at bron's last night.

So, as you can see, alot of the events that took up my week were consumed by food. Oh, I forgot to mention.. I finally got my licence! I am 23, but like others in my family, I'm a bit of a late bloomer. Like the old adage, better late than never. When my nana, Ollie, was still alive she used to teach the women in her street how to drive. This was in the 60's I think. She always believed that driving was the key to your own personal freedom and she would always prompt us to take the tests.

This is a picture of my nana and I when I was very little.

And here we are blowing out the candles. She was such a great woman.

In other news, Bron and I have started really planning our craft collective. We have a facebook page and have sent invitations out for those local people who wish to join. I cannot wait for our first meet! We will be working on group and individual projects, drinking tea (as we do), talking and sharing ideas.

Signing off now.
