So, getting back to what I was saying, I went to see Julie & Julia and I was inspired. I want to try things out, even if the outcome is a bad one. Though, even if something fails, it is still a learning experience. How many times have you done something and it stuffed up & then realised what you did wrong and thought "Okay, next time, I wont/will do that". See, learning from your mistakes IS good!
Oh, by the way, here are my Christmas tree photos. I put it up about a week ago. Busy or lazy? You be the judge.
By the way, all the presents under the tree are from me. I think I blew the budget a bit.
And here is this cute little musical book that my mum bought. It's so sweet. In case you can't tell, it snows inside the book, and plays carols.
On Saturday, while Zane was at work, I went to Westfield to do some Christmas shopping and also to kill some time. I was there for 5 hours and came out looking like a shopping zombie. But on a lighter note, I got most of my christmas shopping done, and I picked up a few little things for when I move in with Zane. (I've been picking up house items for a while, I think it's a girls perogative to do so). So here's some of the cute things I bought.
Green (my favourite colour) hurricane lamps. I thought these would also be lovely table decorations for Christmas lunch.
Plus this little Churchills tin filled with fudge. I will probably take out the fudge and use it for something else, but use the tin for tea or sugar.
Oh, in other news, my best friend, Bronwyn and I are starting a craft collective. I'm not going to release the name just yet, but it's going to be for the next generation of crafters, with a delightfully fresh spin. Not only will we be doing craft, but also sharing recipes, doing community work and drinking gallons of tea (I'm sure).
I finally have a follower, which happens to be my fiance, Zane. But hopefully I will have some more people. Maybe I need an aim with this blog. At the moment, I seem to come here to vent or update on my day-to-day. An aim..what can it be? Let me think it over.
Stay tuned for updates on my new aim/goal for this blog, and the title of our new craft collective!
ps. Christmas in 18 days.. but whose really counting?
