I couldn't believe it!

So, yesterday was my birthday.. and apart from the fact that I spent most of the day at work.. it was a great day!

At work, it's a little rule that you have bring in your own cake for your birthday, so I brought in a sponge cake with pink icing, and my boss, jenny, put a 2 and a 5 candle on it. Very sweet. Then later in the day, our delivery guy, Terry, bought me a box of chocolates.

But it wasn't until I got home that I really felt it was my birthday. Zane was waiting at the door with a bunch of fresh sunflowers wrapped in brown paper. I received a big kiss & hug and saw he had set up our coffee table with a table cloth, plates & glasses, bread & my gifts. I felt so spoiled.

I opened 2 lovely presents. A really cute makeup satin makeup bag with polka dots & a bow from my mother & father in law.. and from my husband, a gorgeous citizen watch. Just when you think you've got them pegged, they go and do something like this.

Then we had a baked dinner that Zane made, followed by white chocolate mudcake, that he also made from scratch. Like I said, I couldn't believe it!! Such a sweetie!

Anyway, I thought I'd share that with you.. I felt like a queen!!
