extra! extra! read all about it!

Hello my fellow bloggers.

I have decided to try and recucitate my blog, after a long hiatus. I guess when I was a consistent poster before, I had alot of time on my hands.. and it's not that I don't have spare time now.. but I guess I found it a little bit tedious and decided to just move on. But, after a rather lovely day yesterday with my family and friends, I decided to try and bring this thing back to life.

My best friend, Bron, asked me how my blog was going, and I said it was practically non-existent now.. but I have definitely missed it. And then, last night I watched Kirsties Homemade Home & I thought.. "Right, I need to start crafting & blogging again". 2 things which make me very happy.

So let's start at the top.. all the little bits & pieces from the past few months of blogging silence:

* I now have a full time job as a receptionist, which I love.

* Zane and I have been married over 7 months now

* We're looking to move very soon, somewhere in between both of our jobs, which are about an hour apart

* Last, but in no way least, my sister & brother in law had a baby boy last week! SO EXCITING!
A huge welcome to Samuel James Thompson.. weighing in at 7lb 14 oz, 52 cms. He's a week old today and has already become such an important part of our lives. Zane and I are going to visit him tomorrow after we both get whooping cough needles.

Speaking of birthdays, today is mine.. (I thought I'd sneak it in here somewhere). 25 today.. and it feels pretty good. Yesterday I spent the day with my family, had lunch, got some gifties and just laughed and talked & nursed my new nephew.

Anyway, I must be off, but I hope I can find more inspiration to come back!
