Home Sweet Home: Revival. (lots of photos!)

Hello strangers. Finally I have gotten a little inspiration to blog once again. It has been months, sad by true. I have missed reading all of your beautiful blogs & posting myself. How have you all been? After posting here, I am going to catch up on some of my favourites. Of course, I have been following Lou on facebook.. and because I am on there more than here, I think I will start following all of your facebook pages/stores too!

So, to keep you up to speed on Lauramay's homemade life.. alot has changed & happened.. so here goes..

I am in a new reception job, which I love & have been there for a month now. It's a maternity leave position, so when Rochelle (the pregnant girl) leaves, I will be full time, which will be in May.
Speaking of pregnancy, my sister is now 26 weeks along in her pregnancy. She is going so well & looking beautiful.
Also, my lovely friend, Sarahjane, had a baby boy this morning & named him Brodie Stephen. So happy & proud of her.. she now has 3 gorgeous children.
Zane & I have now been married 4 months.. and it has absolutely flown by!
In the next month or two, we will be moving. Not sure where we are going yet, but I cannot wait to start afresh in a new place. It's always fun to decorate a new house.
And, last but not least, Kitty turned 1 in January. My little girl is growing up.

On the home front, I have actually picked up some lovely pieces recently. On eBay, from people giving them away & even on the side of the road. I am the perpetual searcher. When I go driving somewhere, I admit, I'm always searching for treasures. Here are a few examples of my wonderful finds..

This one I found in front of a house in my neighbourhood, just needs sanding, re-staining, rewiring & a new shade.. (see below).

The lampshade was a garage sale leftover too.. can't wait to recover it & add it to the rest of the lamp.

A beautiful eBay find. Everything is in perfect condition.. cushion just needs recovering.

This didn't get sold at my mum's neighbours garage sale & she knew I had my eye on it. Rather than the asking price ($80), she gave it to me, no charge. Just needs a new mirror!

This was also found on the side of the road, perfect condition, just needs a new roof & to be painted.
