A few months ago, my friend,
Lynds, asked me to be a nanny for my little god-daughter,
Nyah. I agreed, and my first full day is tomorrow. I have had 2 practice days, running through the routine & then today,
Lynds went to run some errands, so I got to see what it was like! I have to say, the things I thought would be hard were simple, & the easy things, like dressing
Ny, were a bit of a struggle. She even went to sleep with no trouble! So proud of her.
Tomorrow is 8-4.30.. so a pretty long day. I know I'm going to have
alot more respect for mothers everywhere.. (especially my own!) Anyway, I've got to get up at 6am to travel up to Newcastle.. so it's bedtime for me! Goodnight sweeties.
ps. this is what it looked like when I walked out my front door this morning. Beautiful purple & orange sky over the water.
