The other day, I won 'An education' on dvd from Vintage by Lou Lou's giveaway and now I play the waiting game to find it in my mailbox! Have you seen it? Let me know what you think.
Anyway, today wasn't such a good day. It started out great, I got up early and iced my cupcakes for craft.. but then it went downhill. The weather has been disgusting & finances have been less than great. Craft was great, really laid back with a lovely lunch & some knitting. Then on the way home, the rain was so heavy, I could barely see 5 feet in front of my car and I was going about 50kms per hour in a 110 zone.
But I'm home, safe & warm, thank God. Each week, starting last week, Zane, his brother & myself have been having games night. Last week we played Scattegories & this week we played Scrabble. Alot of fun & some good bonding time.
And last my loves, for good measure, some photos of my cupcakes. Though you can't taste them, enjoy!
Oh, by the way..when I moved a few months ago, mum cleared out alot of things and asked me if I wanted to take some of them with me. And of course, being the sentimental person that I am, I can't bear to part with things. Anyway, mum has had this jigsaw puzzle since before I can remember called 'Mayflower' which I'm pretty sure was made in the 50's. It's so awesome, and now it belongs to me. I just finished it tonight & found out, when I got down to the last piece, it is missing 1 piece.. 1 PIECE! Oh well.. still looks pretty.
