green apples.
At grocery shopping tonight, I bought 2 kilos of green apples to make an apple pie. I've never made one before, but I'm looking forward to making it! I also bought shortcrust pastry, brown sugar & cinnamon. I'm currently looking at some recipes, but none say you need brown sugar, I think it would taste great with a bit sprinkled throughout the filling.
Have you got a favourite recipe that never fails? Let me know.

Yum! Sooo good!
my mom makes a KILLER apple pie! Mmm, there's nothing like it and she does use brown sugar. My favorite recipe to make is strawberry shortcakes :) Have fun baking!
Yum! Apple pie would go down nicely here tonight with the cool weather we are having :) I have a recipe for apple crumble which is yummy but not apple pie - just let me know if you want it. Happy baking :)
