I made it!

Here I am, 100 posts down, and I'm very happy with that fact. A year ago, I would blog on and off and not think much of it. I mean, I didn't realise that people out there were making it into an art form and others were reading and following. It's a wonderfully community I have stumbled across. I have spent a bit of time thinking about what I was going to do for my 100th post and it's been hard, but I have to start by thanking those who follow/read my blog, your visits and comments are always welcome. And now, on with the festivities.

So, after much thought, I decided to use this blog to tell you things about myself that you may not already know from reading my posts. So here goes..
  • My favourite tv show is M*A*S*H
  • I have only ever broken 1 bone, my ankle
  • My favourite movies, apart from old musicals, are 90's feel-good films.
  • I am very neat at sewing, like my Nana, who was accomplished at invisible stitch
  • I enjoy cleaning. My favourite is vacuuming, least favourite is folding clothes.
  • When I drive from my house to my mum's, or any long distance, I sing along to Doris Day
  • My hair is halfway down my back, but after our wedding, it will be above my shoulders
  • I have the same middle name as both of my grandmothers, 'May'
  • One of my favourite Cd's is 'Tales of a Librarian' - Tori Amos
  • A dream of mine is to perform on Broadway
And now for my top 5 (in true 'high fidelity' fashion) favourite things:

English Breakfast tea and the little tea set that you get when you order it at cafes

Hand sewing & embroidery

Films & musicals from the 20's to the 60's

Being organised and writing lists

Home cooking & baking

So that's it loves, my 100th post. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I have enjoyed blogging. Thanks again. Before I go, I like to end things with a quote. And here's one from a woman who is truly worthy of quoting.

"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles." - Audrey Hepburn.

Catch you again tomorrow, I'm sure.
