a glimpse

Hi all! Well, today I spent my time driving back from Zane's this morning, spending some time with mum & dad, and then I went to see the dressmaker. As I have mentioned, I have already bought my dress, and just have to have it altered. I could tell she was a really lovely woman, just on the first meeting, and that I can trust her with my ideas. She does her dressmaking in her attic, which is in an old federation home. The attic looks a little something like this...

Note: it wasn't this tidy, as she has alot of projects around to do, and it didn't have this much light, but it was pretty cool.

Anyway, I went to see my sister tonight and she bought our jewellery for her wedding. It's really nice, very blingy! I also got to have a little visit with her cat, Merlin, whom I have missed dearly. I used to see him everyday when Mil and I were walking, and you know what happened there, (me being a lazy bum).

Moving on... I thought I would use this opportunity to introduce you to another side of me. The film buff side. I have been inspired by a close friend of Zane's/mine who blogs on movies. His love of films has made me want to dedicate some time to my favourite movies. Before I proceed, you must give his blog a read, it's very in depth and detailed, but you can see where the passion lies.
