unfortunately

On Tuesday, I travelled down to Zane's so we could then travel to Gosford for me to get more of my sleeve coloured (tattoo). His lovely friend dave was kind enough to oblige and stay back. It was nice though, we caught up and then his fiance, Mahala and their little girl, Frankie, showed up. Frankie (next to my goddaughter, Nyah), has to be the cutest little girl. She is so funny and imaginative. From there, Zane and I went to a little Indian resturant for dinner, which was so nice!

So, the point of my story is, my sister rang me this morning to go for a swim (because it's so hot outside) and I said yes. But I totally forgot that I can't go in the sun for too long or immerse my arm in water for long periods of time (because of the tattoo, obviously). So that was that idea out the window. As you can see by the photo, it is the perfect spot. My best childhood memories were spent swimming there.

Anyway, instead we're going to see 'It's Complicated' tomorrow. I can't wait. My siter and I never go to the movies together, but I think it will be good to spend some quality time with her before her wedding in a few weeks!



Oh, I forgot to mention. My friend, Dean, who I went to high school with, is doing our makeup for the wedding. He gave me a little trial on Tuesday, before I went to Zane's, and Millie & I were super pleased with the result. The other bridesmaids are having a trial on Monday, then it's all systems go for the big day!

I have to go unpack the dishwasher, so I'll be back later. Maybe tomorrow.
