ramekin shmamekin

Lately, I have developed a bit of love for the humble ramekin. You can cook anything in them, they are lovely and small, and well, they look really cute. I saw Nigella bake mini chicken pot pie in some and I went out and bought some big enough to make some for Zane. I have a little collection started, now I just need to start making these miniature treats.



In other news, I put together the acetate noodle boxes for the party favors for Amelia's kitchen tea. I'm having them as bonbonnieres for my wedding and so I thought they would be a lovely idea for a party gift. Her theme is purple & butterflies so I had a look around and here is what I came up with:

Anyway folks, I'm off to have a quiet afternoon and an even quieter evening by myself. When I was a teenager, I always thought that I would want to be out on every weekend, partying and staying out late. And now, being only 23, I love quiet nights in. Maybe I'll make up for it in my old age? Okay, I'm out. Have a good day all.
