As was recently mentioned, Christmas this year was a little bit of a downer because #1- Zane had to leave after breakfast, and #2- It was my last Christmas at home with my parents. I am 23 and I need to give my (retired) parents their space and give them time to enjoy eachothers company alone, which I'm pretty sure they haven't had the chance to do since before they had my brother, sister and I. They deserve this.
Anyway, tonight changed the festivities for me. Zane and I went to my friend, Lyndsey's, house for dinner, dessert, a slideshow of Andrew's photos from Europe and a little gift exchange. I didn't want the night to end and I don't think I'm bias when I say that I have the best friends in the world. We talked, laughed and ate and ate and ate. Lyndsey's baby, Nyah, made us goo and gah (as always), Bron made some gorgeous food, Lyndsey made us feel so welcome and Andrew dazzled us with his impressive photography skills. And, even though my fudge failed miserably, I made some cupcakes, which were very popular.
I have to say, tonight made my Christmas complete.
Signing off now,
