'tis the season

I dont know if it's the change of the weather, or the immense amount of time I have on my hands, but last night I had the urge to start making christmas cards and put on some carols. I didn't know, but I found an instrumental Christmas cd of my mum's. It is really beautiful. Who needs an excuse to do crafts anyway? My stash has been building up, so I thought I'd take some pictures of some things I love, plus the little mess I made last night in my card-making rampage.

Here is my craft corner with my little bits and pieces (mostly card-making things and reference books)

Some beautiful fabrics I bought on sale at spotlight. So many patterns, so little time.

This is my favourite one. Because my art is generally based around traditional tattoo design, I seem to lean towards clean lines and simple designs alot.

Some Fat 1/4s I thought I might use for Christmas crafts.

The finished product of my night spent at my desk.

And..the aftermath. Not as bad as it could be I guess.

I hope everyone is enjoying getting ready for the Christmas season.
