* I am now engaged to the love of my life, Zane. He proposed to me at the most unexpected moment, and placed the ring in a babushka doll.. as always, he was very creative. So far we have booked our cars (1957 chevys, and our reception venue. It is absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to begin the creative process).
* I got a job at EHPS as a teachers aide, 3 days a week. I can't believe I am so lucky to be doing something I love, and be getting paid for it.
* My nephews moved to Virginia, US. I miss them so much. They lived with me and my parents for 5 weeks before leaving with their mother. I must admit, the weekends and family events/dinners feel really empty without them.
* Zane and I set a date for me to move in with him. 2nd of January. Not long now.
* I have 5 weeks left of tafe, which I am so happy about. It was only a 12 month course, but like any degree/certificate/course, by the end, you've pretty much had enough.
*Oh, and also, on the 8th of November, I will be involved in an art exhibition that my lovely friend, Nienke, is holding. It's called "Tales of Subversion" and it's basically a display of stencil art. It is being hung on the 3rd, and like any artist, I have procrastinated by bottom off. I have one piece done, but thats the beauty of working 3 hour days, I can go home and work on it. Thats if I don't let nanna naps get in the way.
In other news, I have been getting in touch with my old crafty self. Searching some beautiful craft blogs such as 'Thimble'. Do yourself a favour and have a peek. There are some wonderful ideas and patterns that I'm sure everyone who is into crafts will appreciate. I just bought some lovely fabric, including some felt, ready for Christmas. I have alot of projects I want to do during the holidays. I think I might go get some more soon, and maybe some other bits and pieces.
