Christmas memories

Hello all. I have been blog-procrastinating for way too long & I am once again motivated to read all your blogs & do a post myself. How have you all been?? It's getting so very close to Christmas, I bet everyone is excited!!

As an Australian, I have never experienced a 'white Christmas', but in saying that, Christmas wouldn't be the same to me without:

* A warm Christmas eve spent watching the carols on tv
* Daylight savings & doing outdoor things until 8pm
* Passing people in your street that you have never talked to & saying "Merry Christmas"
* Christmas ham & mum's cherry custard tart
* Being totally nostalgic listening to my favourite Christmas songs like:

• "I'll be home for Christmas" - Perry Como
• "The Christmas Song" - Nat King Cole
  
• "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" - Judy Garland
• "O Holy Night" - Mariah Carey

If you have heard these songs, but perhaps haven't heard these certain versions, please do. They are some of the most moving songs in history.

Please tell me some of the things you love about Christmas or some memories you would like to share. I'd love to hear them all!

Before I go, here's a little something I made yesterday with a coat hanger & some decorations. It's my first decoration to be hung for the year!



I know it's not December yet, but I'm pretty excited!!
