Wednesdays are my day, but Tuesdays are days just for Zane and I. Yesterday we went out for lunch and then went shopping. I have to say, even though I got a boring lunch of a toasted ham/cheese & tomato sandwich and a vanilla milkshake, they were the best I have ever tasted! Then we went looking for a birthday present for my dad & I bought a little something for myself too!
When I buy jewellery or ornaments like this, I imagine having them for a long time & passing them onto my children & grandchildren. Even though they're not super expensive, they still mean alot. When my nana passed, I got alot of her jewellery, most of it costume pieces, but they mean the world because they were hers. Here are a few of her things that I wear all the time.

So back to today, it was lovely. I got all the housework done & watched Paradise Road. If you have never seen it, please do!
