This weekend just passed, I spent it with my family & friends for the ANZAC long weekend. I do realise I have some readers from the US and beyond, so look up ANZAC if you have never heard the term. Anyway, here was what I got up to..
- Friday - Craft group in Newcastle, which was full of lovely ladies, lots of food and some babies for good measure. It was a great time. Friday night consisted of my mum & I getting takeaway for dinner and then listening to some whitney/celine/barbra, dancing and singing and having a great time. I never knew my mum was such a comedian! She's great at miming.
- Saturday - Morning tea at Bron's (tea & lammingtons!) and driving around looking at some garage sales! I bought 3 bags of buttons and Bron got some great buys, including a vintage coat for $2! Then I went out for lunch with my mum & sister and did some shopping. The main topic of the afternoon was babies, as my Millie & her new husband are now trying to have bubs! I adore my mum & sister, they are the best company! Saturday night was fairly quiet, mum & I watched 'The Enchanted Cottage'. If you have never seen it, you must find it! It is wonderful.

- Sunday- Up at 4am for the ANZAC dawn service, which was very moving, as it always is. Followed by breakfast at Goldbergs with Bron & Jason. Not long after, we all went home and I went back to bed for a few hours before going to see my nana's & pa's grave at Ryhope memorial park. It was very rainy and overcast, but I hadn't been to see their spot in a while. That afternoon, after much stress and getting lost, Zane and I went camping in the Watagans. When we did finally get there, after the help of his friends, it was great. Here are some pics for your enjoyment.
Love you guys, thanks for reading.
