For all the stitches/crafts my mum taught me and I have, in time, forgotten.. I turn to youtube for the answer. I forgot how to begin a granny square..youtube. I forgot how to do a blanket stitch..youtube again. I know the fascination with the online video revolution has kind of settled down, but I think I took for granted what it can teach me. So thanks to all those people who post tutorials on crafts, hair, makeup and so on. So here's that blanket stitch tutorial I was talking about. Easy as pie!
I crafted alot last night and today. I have been getting alot of nice ideas from other blogs and after watching 1 tutorial on how to make crochet flowers, I decided to improvise a bit with different patterns, and here was the winner.
You know, I did the SAME thing when I took up knitting again recently and TOTALLY forgot how to take the stitches off at the end! Good od' Utube showed me how! Yay!
YouTube and a couple of other sites with their videos have been wonderful as we've fixed up stuff around the house! I even found a video that provided steps for how to reupholster furniture! I may need a little more courage to give that one a try though :)

there's something so peaceful about crocheting florettes...I'm doing that today too...posted about crochet today too! it's a great day ...
