Well, here we are. Into another year, it's the evening of the 2nd of January already and I can tell this year is going to fly by even faster than last year. My new years eve was quite nice. Very small with a few friends talking, telling ghost stories actually, eating, laughing and watching some local fireworks. All in all, it was a nice night.
And even though it's only 2 days into the new year I have..
- Filled out and mailed the application for our wedding photographer
- Bought our invitations (which Zane and I will be putting together), which, for the basic materials, cost about $12! DIY bride at your service.
- Paid off our laybuy and brought home our wedding table decorations
- And, bought the noodle boxes for our bonboniere gifts.
Boy, am I organised. The wedding is about 9 months away, but I want to make it such a beautiful day. My best friend and I got up early yesterday and went into spotlight (yes, on new years day) and shopped. I found the flowers I want and also some other bits and pieces which would work so beautifully (and wouldn't break the bank). Thanks to some beautiful blogs and youtube videos, I am brimming with ideas.
