hello dream home

My last post was peppered with a few houses that caught my interest, but I found this one. It is 100 years old and is full of potential. It is beautiful... the wyee treasure.

Onto other things, today was lovely. Another warm one, of course, so I stayed in, read, vacuumed, did some folding and then went to the movies with my sister. I'm pretty sure we've never been to the cinema, just her and I, before. We went to the old movie theatre that my nana used to take us to when we were little. Hasn't changed much, I can tell you that. All I can say is, 'It's complicated' was very refreshing and funny. I loved it. (ps. Meryl Streep's kitchen in the movie is AMAZING!).

Favourite song right now: Shake your tail feather by Ray Charles
Currently reading: On Beauty : A novel by Zadie Smith
Link I like: Homelife.com.au

And now for a final anecdote which I found in my favourite magazine, Notebook.

"You have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down." - Mary Pickford.

Goodnight friends,
