summer.

Today has been disgusting, weather wise. It was 36 degrees by 10 this morning. But I still had things to do. I walked up to the school (my previous work) to pick up my reference and say hello to the ladies. It was far too hot to walk back home, so dad and I went and did some shopping. I bought some lovely things to make cupcakes for a little get-together tomorrow night. Melissa (2IC in the office) is having drinks/nibblies etc at her house tomorrow night, which should be great. I adore everyone in the office and the teachers aides at E.H.P.S. Here are the cute things I bought.

I love 'queen' decorations. The icing roses are gorgeous.

Some cute cupcake papers..and of course some christmas ones for the festive season.

I also got a free cake-tester with my cupcake papers.

Just for good measure, I took some photos of these beautiful fabric flowers that mum bought me in Narrabri. I thought there was nothing in Narrabri to really write home about, until she came home from visiting our relatives a few weeks ago and bought me back so many beautiful things.

In a beautiful crystal vase that looks like it was made for these flowers.

Up close you would swear they were real.

I have some other lovely pieces that she bought me, but I will have to do a huge photo post for that.

p.s. The weather is still awful, but my friends and I are going out for dinner tonight. I hope we sit on the balcony. I don't know how we'll fair if we sit inside the woddfired pizza restaurant.
